No. The app never asks for a loyalty program password and does not connect to your airline, hotel, or bank accounts. You enter balances yourself, either by typing them or by scanning them from a screenshot.
Open a program, choose to scan, and either take a photo or pick a screenshot from your library. The app reads the number on your phone and shows you what it found so you can confirm or correct it before saving. You can also share a screenshot straight into OintsOints from another app.
If nothing is detected, the number is usually too small, too low-contrast, or cropped at the edge. A tighter screenshot showing the balance clearly works best. You can always type the number in instead.
The catalog is updated regularly. Pull the latest one with Settings → Program catalog, which downloads the current list and caches it for offline use. If your program still is not there, send it through the form above and it can be added.
Reasonable Redemption Values are published by independent travel rewards sites, including FrequentMiler and The Points Guy. They are estimates of what a point is typically worth when redeemed sensibly — not a price, not an offer, and not a guarantee of what you will get. Refresh them from Settings.
Settings → Export to CSV writes all your programs and balances to a file and hands it to the share sheet, so you can mail it to yourself or drop it in Files.
